Our Story

EMPOWERING YOUNG PEOPLE TO DISCOVER THEIR TRUE POTENTIAL

Since 2001, AMIkids Savannah River has been passionately dedicated to helping young people discover the incredible potential within them, transforming their lives, and strengthening our community. Located in Sylvania, Georgia, AMIkids Savannah River is committed to empowering our remarkable kids to unlock their full potential. Our dedicated team, comprised of diverse, compassionate, and caring individuals, connects with our kids through meaningful relationships and serves as positive role models. We focus on teaching them the values of trust and integrity, ultimately empowering them to believe in themselves and believe success is possible.

Services

What We Offer

RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS

Residential programs operate 24 hours per day, seven days per week, with youth residing on campus. Staff implement trauma-informed programming to help youth develop skills for successfully transitioning to community settings and/or the home environment.

Juvenile Justice Residential

The Juvenile Justice Residential programs provide 24-hour rehabilitative care for youth referred primarily due to delinquency and may include treatment services for youth with mental health and/or substance abuse conditions.

Specialized Therapeutic

Specialized Therapeutic programs provide 24-hour psychotherapeutic rehabilitative care for youth with severe behavioral, psychological, or emotional challenges. Services are provided by a multi-disciplinary treatment team including clinical staff members.

  • Average length of engagement is about 206 days or nearly 7 months
